Hey Comrades,
Thanks to all of you that came on Friday, it was a good chance to catch up/meet a lot of you. The new room at the Sandringham is very good so maybe we’ll do another show there soon.
Thank you to Go/No-Go, Great Apes and Community Radio for putting up an awesome show last Friday. It was the first time I had seen Community Radio and they were cool guys and good musicians.
There was good times and good feelings all round.
We’re going to get really stuck into mixing and hopefully have a track or two on the interwebs and FBi before too long.
May all your games be lag less,
-James
Hey friends,
just a quick little post to say that we are playing a show at the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown tomorrow night. Our friends Go/No Go are launching their single Lost In Berlin and have asked us to open for them. Also playing on the night are Great Apes and Community Radio. We’re playing pretty early, at 8.15 so try to make it down to see us! We’ve got a couple of new songs that we tried out at the last few shows, the reception has been quite good. We might even film it - it will make you famous like us.
Anyway, watch the video for Lost In Berlin and hopefully see you tomorrow!
Love,
Dean
Hello facebook fiends, and tumblr lolcatz
It’s a new year and we want to play some shows and new songs for all of you.
This Thursday on the 20th we are playing a fund raiser for QLD flood relief at the Annandale.
On Sunday the 23rd we will be playing at Valve bar with Dirty Grotto who we played with at the Lansdowne not to long ago.
On Friday the 28th we will be playing with Go/No Go at the Sando in Newtown for their single launch.
I hope you are all well and in good spirits.
See you there,
Jamesx
Hey, we are playing a show at Iguana Bar this Friday with a bunch of other bands. It’s part of a night called Wolfden, this is actually the first one. You wouldn’t want to miss out would you? 219 people don’t want to miss it, according to the facebook event so far.
You can get all the details here.
Merry Christmas!
xx
Greetings Humans
We are jamming tonight and working on some new stuff. Dean also DJ’d at Teenage Kicks last Thursday under the pseudonym Baby Decks which is pretty rad.
The genius that is Chris Rollans has been giving his mitus touch to the record. It’s already sounding great.
We’re going to put up some new pictures in the photos section of this blog soon. And we’ll be posting set lists from here on in for every gig we play.
Thanks to every one of you who came to see us play at the Lansdowne it was a great show and a great crowd.
Peace
Jamesx
A big thank you to everyone who came to World Bar last night. It was a fun evening and there were some pretty sweet tunes. Giraffe Season were really good, and we made friends with Owl Eyes who are from Melbourne. Owl Eyes are playing at Spectrum tonight so check it out if you are looking for something new in your life.
We won’t be there though, because we’ll be back in the studio with Chris, recording the rest of the record we are making. It’s exciting! Just some guitars. Yeahhhh!
Here is a poster for the show we have next week, supporting Short Pants Romance. This is going to be a great show!

Hello frengers.
Not long ago it was our band anniversary in a way.
We’ve been a band for a little over 2 years and looking back on those
early gigs in the mountains It’s odd to think how
far we have come and how happy we are as a band.

And in a way we are celebrating this fact by playing shows with two great mountains bands
Giraffe Season and Short Pants Romance, both great musicians and songwriters.
The first gig is this friday at World Bar, so if you want to come you should leave a comment on our
facebook or here or get in contact with one of us somehow so we can get you in for $5 instead of $15.
And the other gig is at Valve(formerly the harp) next Sunday the 26th. This gig in particular should be very interesting, simply because the format is so different. Short Pants Romance are headlining, Baby X is supporting and Giraffe Season is joining us. It should be a very relaxed late afternoon kind of thing. It starts at 3 and should go off ‘like a fire in the night oh yeah’.
Also I recommend you check out Giraffe Season’s facebook page, they’ve put a really great demo on there. Speaking of recording, there will be a lot more news on Baby X in relation to our first record…very soon.
Peace!
James
Heya,
just thought we would let you know that we were put on a new music blog called A Story Never Told. It’s a pretty rad blog, they’ve been covering heaps of local stuff like Dark Bells, Myth & Tropics, Guineafowl etc, you should check it out. Our story is here.
Also don’t forget our show this coming Friday at MUM. We’re playing upstairs with our good friends Giraffe Season, and The Demon Parade are playing downstairs, who I’m told are fucking amazing, so hopefully we will be able to catch them before/after we play. Otherwise I’ll just have to stop playing. Shoot us an email for half price entry, or reply to this post with your name.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
